How do add-ons work?

First choose the pledge level you want.

On the Desktop version of Kickstarter you’ll see for each pledge level it says, for example, ‘pledge £65 or more’.

The ‘or more’ part is for add-ons.

Example:

Let’s say you want to pledge at level 4, which is a pledge of £65 or more. If you want to add £20 worth of add-ons you simply pledge £85 (£65 + £20).

If you are using the Kickstarter app, their is a different field called ‘Bonus Support’. Simply enter the total cost of all the add-ons you want in this field.

You don’t need to specify exactly which add-ons you want yet, that will happen after the campaign. All you need to do now is make sure you add enough total funds to cover what you want.

After the campaign, you’ll be able to view your pledge in our pledge manager, Backerkit.

To continue the example, in Backerkit it will show the rewards you automatically getting with the the Level 4 pledge plus an extra £20 ‘credit’ on your account which you then get to allocate against the specific add-ons you want to get.

You will also be able to add additional funds in Backerkit, if you decide at the time you actually do want a few extra things.

Where possible, we ask that you pledge as much as you can during the dates of the Kickstarter campaign, as it helps us reach more stretch goals which benefit you and all your fellow backers!

Thanks for backing!

How many packs of sleeves do I need?

To sleeve the content of the four new Sector expansions (Mission Packs 1-3 and The Collector’s Box) you’ll need one pack of each size sleeve in total:

1 x Large Sleeves (A6) 1 x Small Sleeves (A8)

To sleeve the entire Escape the Dark Sector collection (including the core game and all expansions) you’ll need two packs of each size sleeve in total:

2 x Large Sleeves (A6) 2 x Small Sleeves (A8)

The same is true for the Castle range. One pack of each covers the core game, two packs of each covers everything in the Castle range.

The sleeves are unbranded, suitable for both games.

Is the game available in other languages?

This campaign is for the English Edition only.

However, Escape the Dark Castle is already available in 4 languages, so we hope to do the same for Sector in 2021.

Late pledges?

To get items from this campaign at the Kickstarter prices you must back the project for at least £1 BEFORE the end of the campaign. Then, during the pledge manager (which we expect to last a couple of months) you’ll be able to upgrade your pledge to any level and get add-ons.

After the campaign ends, we will be accepting late pledges while the pledge manager is open. Late pledges will ship at the same time as pledges recorded during the campaign, but they will not qualify for the Kickstarter pricing.

After the pledge manager closes, we will be accepting pre-orders, which will be at the retail price and ship just before the retail release.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
